Newbury 2

More pictures from the Newbury Rally organised by Bus & Coach Preservation Magazine
One of my all time favourite coach designs is the Burlingham Seagull which was bodied on various chassis. Above is a Leyland version in Whittles livery and below a more unusual 1959 Guy Arab LUF in Harper Bros livery.

The King Alfred vehicles are based so far south that I rarely get to see any of them so it was a real pleasure to see the recently restored Leyland/MCW Olympic JAA708, leading 1959 Tiger Cub WCG 104 into the showground.

1951 Bedford OB in Mid Wales Motorways livery
Finally in this selection, two London Transport examples. Above 1960 RM 254 and below AEC Regent III / Weymann London Transport New to London Transport 8/1953 as RT3775.
