London Bus Contracts - latest awards



No sooner do we report one set of Transport for London contract awards, than another one comes along. Rather like London buses themselves.

48 (London Bridge Station-Walthamstow Central Station) Awarded to Arriva London North with new LT-class NRM hybrid double-decks. Currently operated by Stagecoach East London with Dennis Trident or Scania double-decks (25th February 2017).



58 (East Ham-Walthamstow Central Station) Retained by Tower Transit using existing fleet Euro-V diesel double-decks (4th March 2017).

97 (Stratford City-Chingford Station) Retained by Stagecoach East London using existing fleet Euro-IV diesel double-decks plus three new Euro VI hybrid double-decks (4th March 2017).

215 (Walthamstow Central Station-Yardley Lane Estate) Retained by Stagecoach East London using existing fleet Euro-V double-decks (4th March 2017).

242/N242 (Tottenham Court Road Station-Homerton Hospital) Retained by Arriva London North with new Euro-VI hybrid double-decks (25th February 2017).



273 (Lewisham-Petts Wood Station) Retained by Stagecoach Selkent with new Euro-VI diesel single-decks (14th January 2017).

277/N277 (Highbury & Islington Station-Leamouth) Retained by Stagecoach East London with new Euro-VI hybrid double-decks, plus five existing fleet Euro-V double-decks (25th February 2017).

325 (Prince Regent Station-East Beckton) Retained by Arriva London North using existing fleet Euro-V diesel single-decks (4th March 2017).

380 (Belmarsh Prison-Lewisham) Retained by Stagecoach Selkent with new Euro-VI diesel single-decks (21st January 2017).

388 (Stratford City-Blackfriars Station) Retained by CT Plus with new Euro-VI hybrid double-decks (21st January 2017).

EL1 (Ilford Hill-Barking Riverside) Retained by Go-Ahead Blue Triangle with new LT-class NRM hybrid double-decks (18th February 2017).

EL2 (Ilford Hill-Dagenham Docks Station) Retained by Go-Ahead Blue Triangle with new LT-class NRM hybrid double-decks (18th February 2017).

EL3 (Little Heath-Barking Riverside) New route number replacing 387. Awarded to Go-Ahead Blue Triangle with new LT-class NRM hybrid double-decks. Route 387 currently operated by Stagecoach East London with ADL Enviro400 double-decks (18th February 2017).
