Latest London Bus Contract awards


The latest awards have recently been announced by Transport for London as follows:



41/N41   (Archway Station & Tottenham Hale Station) Re-awarded to Arriva London North using existing fleet 2011/13 Euro-V diesel double-decks from the current allocation of LT-class Wrightbus NRM. Although that said, the N41 (Trafalgar Square & Tottenham Hale Station), will use Euro-VI hybrids from day routes 19/N19,243,259 or 341 (Contract start date 3rd February 2018).
121   (Turnpike Lane Station & Enfield Island Village) Re-awarded to Arriva London North using existing fleet 2011/13 Euro-V diesel double-decks from the current allocation of DW-class DAF DB250 (3rd February).


A Zoopla advert adorns Arriva London's DW568, a Wrightbus DB300 Gemini 2 DL at Southgate whilst bound for the Enfield Island Village end of the route.

141   (Palmers Green & London Bridge Station) Re-awarded to Arriva London North using existing fleet 2013 Euro-V hybrid double-decks from the current allocation of HV-class Volvo double-decks (13th January).


Another Arriva London Wrightbus DB300 Gemini 2 DL was DW503 as it crossed southbound over London Bridge bound for journey's end at the nearby London Bridge railway station

233   (Eltham Station & Swanley) Re-awarded to Go-Ahead Metrobus with existing fleet 45-capacity 2013 Euro-V diesel single-decks 24th February).


The offside emergency looked a bit incongruous on a short Enviro200 bodied ADL E20D number 173 operated by Metrobus, as it served route 233 in Sidcup

299   (Muswell Hill Broadway & Cockfosters Station) Awarded to Sullivan Buses with new 50-capacity Euro-VI diesel single-decks. Currently operated by Go-Ahead London General with ADL E20D Enviro200 single-decks from Northumberland Park (NP) Garage (3rd February).
329   (Turnpike Lane Station & Enfield Town) Re-awarded to Arriva London North using existing fleet 2013 Euro-V diesel double-decks from the current allocation of T-class ADL E40D diesel double-decks (13th January).
684   ( ) New schoolday-only route. Awarded to Go-Ahead Metrobus using existing fleet 2011 Euro-V diesel double-decks (26th August 2017).
W4   (Ferry Lane Estate & Oakthorpe Park) Awarded to Arriva London North with new 45-capacity Euro-VI diesel single-decks. Currently operated by Go-Ahead London general with ADL E20D single-decks from Northumberland Park (NP) Garage (3rd February).


The nearside aspect is shown here of Go Ahead London General's  SEN2, an 8.9-metre long ADL E200Dart at Tottenham Hale


W6   (Southgate Station & Edmonton Green Station) Re-awarded to Arriva London North with new 50-capacity Euro-VI diesel single-decks (3rd February).


Starting to look a bit dated, Arriva London's PDL104 a 9.3metre Alexander Pointer bodied Dennis Dart SLF passed along Silver Street near North Middlesex Hospital
