Coinciding with a revision of routes, Go North East have added to their coloured branding by introducing a version of the 'Angel' brand based on a red rather than pink colour scheme. Ex London Volvo B7TL which was converted to single door format is seen here in Newcastle, operating on the 'Angel' services. The 'Angel' 21 route runs between Newcastle and Durham every 10 minutes and no longer goes on to Bishop Auckland.

Buses between Newcastle, Durham and Bishop Auckland have been replaced by the new 'Pronto' services, which also have a new livery. As soon as I can get photos of the new 'Pronto' brand I will post them.

Another new livery introduced in the nearby Gateshead area, is for the 'Pulse' brand which uses a blue base colour.
Go North East make great efforts to consult with their passengers and found overwhelming support to merge the 69/69A and 187 to create new hourly services 69 and 69A, which have received the 'Pulse' branding.. The new 69 and 69A will offer a combined half-hourly service between Wardley and QE Hospital via Leam Lane Estate and Felling Square.
