Solihull

Ken Jones visited Solihull recently and took a few moments to capture shots of the local bus scene. Like Birmingham - Solihull has no bus station, buses arrive and depart at stops on the street.
Dennis Trident / Alexander ALX400 4377 (BV52 OAP) [no not a senior citizen bus] has been parked outside the bank for the driver to go and get some cash, making it difficult for other vehicles to pass. Undeterred, the driver of Scania OmniLink BX10 AEN successfully manages to squeeze past. The DD bus indicator regrets the actions of its driver.
DD with all over side advertising also crosses pedestrian crossing on wrong side of road to get past   BV52 OAP. Both buses are Dennis Trident / Alexander ALX400s.
Central Connect Mercedes-Benz Citaro in Signature livery decides to cross pedestrian crossing on wrong side of road to get past BV52 OAP.

Central Connect Dennis Dart SLF / Plaxton Pointer X636 AKW in Touchwood Connection livery on route 37 to Birmingham. Touchwood is the shopping centre in Solihull and several operators run along route 37

Coming soon on this website: More Solihull pictures, More East Midland heritage liveries, the Yorkshire Air Museum - the only museum in the world with a "live" Nimrod in its collection.
