Cumbrian Rescue Exercise

Cumbria Classic Coaches helped in an exercise to test the Cumbrian emergency services  recently by "crashing" one their vehicles on a remote, single track Cumbrian lane. First responders, Mountain Rescue, Fire Services and Police all worked together to rescue passengers from the stricken bus.
Fourteen passengers with various simulated injuries were rescued by taking them on a difficult route from the rear door and up a grassy bank.
After the exercise all concerned were invited back to the Cumbria Classic Coaches depot where hot drinks and soup were served.
