A new rally took place recently at St Helen Auckland, organised by the Eden Bus Company and as it was held on the Jubilee weekend it was called the The Royal Bus Rally. The company is based at the Garage, Staindrop Road, West Auckland.

Leyland Leopard PSU/Alexander. Built 1963. This is an ex-Venture Transport coach, one of a fleet which passed to Northern General Transport at the takeover of the Venture company. It has recently returned to the road following extensive restoration. The other vehicle is an unidentified Bristol LH. |
