Bristol L on Heritage Weekend Duties

This weekend free admissions to interesting properties and events are offered as part of the 'Heritage Open Days' scheme http://www.heritageopendays.org.uk/
The 1949 Bristol L owned by the Aycliffe & District Bus Preservation Society was playing its part yesterday, on a free bus service operated in Gateshead. The bus ran between the Sage and the Angel of the North with a commentary being given throughout the journey.
Today it will be running in Newcastle on conducted tours of the city.

 All aboard and ready for the return journey
 Having finished duties for the day the bus is driven into Newcastle via Dean Street 

 The bus picks its way through Newcastle city centre, passing the Theatre Royal
