Tees Valley Update

to an article that seems to confirm the rumours that the company have ceased trading.

Tees Valley operated a number of bus services across Teesside which ceased on Friday, including the 87/87A/87B from Billingham to Longnewton. This route has now been taken over by Tees Valley Stagecarriage. Other routes included the 24 between Middlesbrough and Guisborough. The company also provided school transport
Tees Valley Coach Travel was contracted to take Middlesbrough’s footballers from the first team, reserves and youth squads to away matches, however the company recently made the club aware it would be unable to maintain its service. Middlesbrough FC have put alternative travel plans into place for this weekend.

 Tees Valley Stagecarriage took over the 87 on an emergency basis from yesterday from Tees Valley Coach Travel as seen in Stockton High Street. No route number or destination appears to be displayed.
