The Commonwealth Games opened yesterday and numerous bus operators have sent vehicles to help out on the transportation of those taking part and the movement of spectators.
Go
North East, have provided a
fleet of twenty vehicles together with a team of forty drivers to provide extra
transport links across the city of Glasgow.

The
bright red double-deck buses were provided from the company’s depots at Sunderland,
Washington, Percy Main, Stanley, Chester-le-Street and Gateshead and set off in
convoy from the firm’s new £9 million depot at Riverside, next to Metrocentre,
on Tuesday morning.
