Excuse the awful pun-like title, but at last the first of the five Chinese built BYD all-electric double-decks (BYD 1471) has finally made it into revenue-earning service on the streets of London. Operated by Metroline out of their Willesden Garage, they are allocated to daytime route 98 and nighttime N98 respectively between the garage or Stanmore and Central London and assigned fleet numbers BYD 1471-75 applied.
