New kids on the block

Yesterday, Saturday 30th April saw yet another double-deck combination enter revenue-earning service in London. Twenty new Volvo B5LH with Egyptian built MCV EvoSeti bodywork have been acquired by the Go-Ahead London Central company. Assigned fleet numbers MHV 1-20 they are ostensibly allocated to the new Transport for London contract of route 40 (Aldgate & Dulwich) operated out of the Camberwell Garage.
But as so often happens these buses are mixed and matched with other classes of new double-decks assigned to routes from the same garage. In this case it is a fleet of twenty-two new Alexander Dennis E40H / Enviro400 (MMC) double-decks for route 35 (Shoreditch & Clapham Junction). Assigned fleet numbers EH 39-50, they too are allocated out of Camberwell Garage.
