The East Lancashire Railway has announced that TransPennine Express Class 68 No. 68030 ‘Black Douglas’ will be visiting them this coming weekend for their Autumn Diesel Gala.
The East Lancs website says
"Join us this autumn for another corking celebration of all things diesel, featuring iconic locomotives from our own highly regarded home fleet and even a couple of guests! The engines will be running intensive passenger services throughout the two days".
Not only that, there will also be a Beer-Ex running on the Friday and Saturday evening for those who like to sup in style!
